A few words about
What We Do
Our projects
SAMIA Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives in Zanzibar and Tanzania through its key pillars: health and environment, social and cultural development, and investment initiatives. Founded in Kizimkazi, it has expanded its reach beyond the region.
We aspire to be a leading institution for sustainable development in Kizimkazi and Zanzibar. In order to achieve this, we ensure direct engagement with our community, building robust partnerships, and maximizing resource access, all while adhering to national policies for a prosperous future.

The upgrade of this historic academic centre resulted to the fostering of government efforts on education. The aim of this center is to guarantee that students of all levels can easily access to education in an inspiring environment.
Kizimkazi Healthcare Centre
The healthcare centre provides essential medical services, improving community health, reducing mortality rates, and ensuring access to quality care, ultimately enhancing overall well-being and quality of life of the surrounding communities.
Suluhu Sports Academy
The sports academy has been established under the social and cultural sector of Samia Foundation. The center aims to establish and strengthen ties among the Zanzibaris as well as improving sports skills to the kizimkazi youth.
